Chester Theater Company hosts ‘virtual talkbacks’ in lieu of performances
Originally known as the Miniature Theater of Chester, the Chester Theatre Company celebrates 30 years of modern theater this season. Unfortunately, the celebration will not take place on the stage of the Town Hall Theatre, as all in-person shows have been canceled.
Instead, the theater company is committed to creating virtual content during the summer, which includes a series of online talkbacks following National Theatre Live performances. The company recently hosted an online talk with New York Times London theater critic Matt Wolf, as well as an online conversation between Steven Oxman, Chicago theater critic for Variety, and Kris Vire, theater writer for The Chicago Sun-Times with Producing Artistic Director Daniel Elihu Kramer.
