Blueberries will still be celebrated this summer, just without the festival

What superfood is big, blue and has a 10-day festival dedicated to it in Southern Vermont’s Deerfield Valley? If you guessed the blueberry, you’re correct. Here you can find anything under the sun you can put blueberry in front of — blueberry pie, blueberry jam, blueberry scones, even blueberry beer. There are blueberry strolls, blueberry parades, a blueberry slip and slide, a craft fair, classic cars, block party and lakeside dining.

The blueberries will still be available for picking this summer, but we’ve been told you’ll have to celebrate on your own until 2021.
