Berkshire Art Museum postpones planned exhibits until 2021
Housed in two former churches, the Berkshire Art Museum presents changing exhibits alongside its permanent collection each summer and fall. Rotating exhibits feature the work of contemporary artists, while the permanent collection is made up of over five decades of the work of artist Eric Rudd, including his Lexan/Iceberg and Robotic sculptures.
Founded in 2012 by the Barbara and Eric Rudd Art Foundation, the museum officially opened its doors in 2014. It also offers special programs and lectures, public receptions and sponsors the annual Eagle Street Beach. The Berkshire Art Museum and its annex site, A Chapel For Humanity, remain closed to the public and its planned 2020 season, featuring the work of more than 35 artists, has been postponed until 2021.
